You’ll have an online portal to watch Cricut Chemistry. You’ll be able to access it from either computer or mobile. The course is made of videos and PDFs that you can access on-demand.

This course is self-paced & on-demand, so you can take as little or as long as you need to master the skills taught. The time it takes to complete the coursework will depend on your individual pace, but most students will finish the course in around 8-12 weeks with regular study. You'll have lifetime access to the course materials, so you can revisit the modules whenever you need a refresher.

To complete the coursework in Cricut Chemistry you'll need the following:
  • Cricut cutting machine (either the Cricut Explore Air w, Explore 3, Maker, or Maker 3 series)
  • Laptop or desktop computer with internet access
  • Design Space software (free to download from Cricut)
  • Cutting mats (standard grip, light grip, and strong grip); $6-15
  • Basic tools (such as weeding tools, scraper tools, spatula, scissors, ruler, and tweezers); $10-30/set
  • Heat source (such as an iron, EasyPress, or heat press)
  • Printer (optional, for Print then Cut projects)

Additional various materials for projects, such as:
  • Vinyl; $3-20/roll
  • Heat transfer vinyl; $8-20/roll
  • Cardstock paper; $5-15/pack
  • Faux leather; $10-20/roll
  • Infusible ink transfer sheets; $12-25/pack
  • Transfer tape; $5-15/roll
  • Adhesive; $5-20 each
  • Pens and markers; $6-30/pack

You need to have a Cricut Explore or Maker series machine.

Because many of the projects we will go through will require a Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker series machine, they cannot be done on a Cricut Joy.

While you won’t get 1:1 access to Alex, you do get access to the private Cricut Chemistry community when you register. You can also reference her numerous free resources on Youtube.

This course is for the beginner who's tried their hand at a few projects, but is still feeling some nerves around going all-in. If you’re ready to become super confident through lots of Cricut projects experiences this course is for you.
